Blackout Bristol 31st October 2007
Friends of the Earth Bristol have organised a Blackout Bristol day for the 31st of October. The idea is that a special effort should be made that day to turn off lighting. It is particularly aimed at big offices where interior and exterior lights are left on all night, every night. Turning off unnecessary lighting would lead to decrease in energy demand and would reduce CO2 emissions.
