Circomedia Bristol/Circusmedia Bristol - Bristol Circus School
Ever daydreamed at work about running away and joining the circus? That will probably never happen but there are ways to learn real circus skills in Bristol.
Circomedia are a local Bristol circus group offering circus lessons. The group, founded over a decade ago by Bim Mason and Helen Crocker, attracts students from all around the world but also has many classes aimed at the local community. They are based in St Paul’s church in Portland Square where they have a large hall.
They offer clubs for children, a great fun thing for kids to do on a Saturday in Bristol, as well as circus and clowning workshops aimed at adults. One of the worshops has the priceless subtitle - “An advanced clown course aimed at participants who are serious about being stupid”. They also do one and two year full time qualifications and a BTEC national diploma in Performance.
