Club Review: Timbuk2

Underground clubbing near Corn St

Walking in to Timbuk2 is like walking in to some dank, sleazy Victorian crack den out of a Sherlock Holmes novel. After queuing to get in you’ll walk down a creaky staircase and find a suprising large underground cellar. It seems a lot bigger than it should be. It has two dance floors. A small one as you come in and a larger one just after. There are also plenty of sofas scattered around the place and even throw cushions on the floor. Suprisingly for a club it also has pool and table football tables. The clientele are on the young side with a cliquey, indie-ish in group feel but they are all a friendly bunch.

It is a cool little club near Corn street in the middle of Bristol city centre. So if you want to go out in the town centre but to avoid the brashier places such as Oceania then Timbuk2 is a great choice.
