Connecting Bristol
ConnectingBristol is a great site set up to attempt to win the Digital Challenge for Bristol. Unfortunately Sunderland won in March but it is an interesting site to look at.
The Digital Challenge was a 2007 government competition to identify a national showcase for ICT innovation. This site documents and supports Connecting Bristol, the city’s dynamic response. Bristol fended-off regional and national competition to win a place in the final top-ten. On 13th March Sunderland was announced the overall winner of the competition. Connecting Bristol continues to work with the other finalists and with our partners to harnessing the energy and creativity of our city to extend opportunities through digital inclusion.
