This is a very recently opened hotel. It is four star and a bout ten minutes walk away from Bristol Temple Meads train station. It has 275 en suite rooms , a restaurant and bar and a fitness suite, spa and pool. Wireless internet access is also available.
The staff at this hotel have a reputation for being friendly and professional. The rooms boast large bathrooms with showers and roll-top baths. one of the added bonuses of this hotel is that breakfast is served till 11 leaving time for a nice lie-in.
I think the advantage of this hotel over others is that it is brand new, is positioned as a 4 star but is also competing heavily on price. The new build means that the facilities are not dated, although the do lack period charm, and not in need of refurbishment. Some people have noted that the hotel looks very unpromising from the outside but once inside everyone I have spoken to has been pleasantly suprised.
