Hotel Review: Holiday Inn Express City Centre - Find a Hotel in Bristol City Centre Near Temple Meads Train Station

Temple Gate, Bristol, Avon, BS1 6PL

Where is it located?
The Holiday Inn Express Bristol City Centre is directly opposite Temple Meads train station. This gives it a great location for a hotel in the middle of central Bristol. Bristol Temple Meads is the main Bristol train station. If you are travelling from London it will take about one and a half hours from Paddington. The airport bus also stops at Temple Meads train station so if you are flying in to Bristol Airport this hotel is easy and cheap to get to.The hotel is beside the temple gate part of town which includes offices for many large companies such as BT, Regus, Deloitte, Government Office for The South West, DETR and 3i. The hotel is literally two minutes walk from these offices.
So tell me more about this hotel…
Well I’m glad you’re still interested. The area immediately surrounding the hotel seems at first glance a little grubby but to walk in to the centre of town from the hotel takes about five minutes. In the evening you could easily walk down to the bars at the harbourside for instance. They charge three pounds a day for parking. Another good reason to get the train. Room quality is typical Holiday Inn Express. Basic but comfortable. Don’t expect luxury but you’ll usually get a good price and the location is great for train travellers.
Ok, so how do I book it? I need the guaranteed cheapest price as well!
