Laughter Yoga in Bristol - Bristol Laughter Club

Everyone likes to laugh. Even so I was astounded to learn that there is a laughter club in Bristol. They run workshops the third Tuesday evening of every month.
The first laughter club was founded in Mumbai, India by Dr Madan Kataria. The yoga involves a set of “tension-releasing” laughter exercises with gentle breathing and stretching, rythmic clapping, and a chanting of Ho Ho Ha Ha Ha in unison as simulated laughter turns in to the real thing. Yoga laughter is seen as a fun way of improving health.
The sessions take place at the Pierian Centre in Portland Square Bristol between 7:30-9:00pm the third Tuesday of every month. Sessions are led by Joe Hoare.
