There are two Marriot hotels in Bristol and this one has by far the best location. It is located in the centre of town beside Bristol Cathedral and the park area called College Green. It is also only a minute away from the harbour. It is about a twenty minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station.
The hotel has a fitness centre including swimming pool and is made up of 226 standard rooms and 16 suites. It houses a well thought of restaurant and champagne bar. Part of the beauty of the hotel is that it has kept the Victorian charm of the original building, and the stunning lobby area, but has refurbished extensively to be a modern quality hotel. It isn’t one of the new build identikit hotels that are dotted everywhere but it does have all modern conveniences.
Overall, this hotel lives up to it’s four star rating and goes a bit beyond although there are far cheaper options around. Great for business travellers or for a romantic weekend getaway. To book click here.
