Mercure Brigstow Hotel - Bristol Hotel Review

Brisgtow hotel bristol

Mercure Brigstow Bristol
Welsh Back 5-7, Bristol

The Mercure hotel, formerly known as Brigstow, has a great postion beside the harbour tucked away behind Queen’s Square and right beside some great quality restaurants. It’s lounge has really beautiful view on to the water. Although it isn’t positioned on the finest stretch of water more a quiet little backstreet packed with great restaurants and strolling families in the daytime.

It is a 4 star hotel a ten minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads train station. It has 116 en suite rooms some with river views and balcony. Gym use is included in the price in the nearby Welshback gym.

The Mercure never seems to be advertised heavily in Bristol. For a pleasant weekend at a decent price this is the one I’d choose. It is near all the nightlife but tucked away from the noise. It has great access to restaurants and is close to all the shopping.
