Offload festival Bristol requires volunteers

Offload festival Bristol

OFFLOAD is the UK’s first network media and systems arts event on nature,
sustainability and ecology. The event will be taking place across Bristol
between 13th-16th Sept 2007 and brings together international, national and
local artists and practitioners interested in creating work that use new and
existing technologies and media.

The four-day festival will include art and design exhibitions, live events,
outdoor public art works, online exhibition, music, interactive media and
design, sound installations, live performances, seminars, talks, film
screenings and educational and practical workshops throughout the city.

We are currently looking to recruit a large number of volunteers to fill
various roles over the course of the event, including production assistants,
artist liaison, reception staff, technical assistants, IT and educational
workshop facilitators and outdoor stewards. As well as opportunities to become
involved in the first event of its kind, volunteers will be able to gain
experience in a number of different areas, meet a range of practicing artists
and designers, attend events for free and receive meals for all shifts.
Shifts are available from Wednesday 12th September until Monday 17th and are
based at various locations in Bristol. If you are able to volunteer for any of
these dates and would like further information on the roles available please
