Regulars at White Harte are often heard to refer to this pub with an S rather than a W as the first letter. All in good fun though much in the way you might mock a younger family member. The White Harte is a ‘It’s a Scream’ chain pub squarely marketed for students. It has a Yellow Card scheme where students can get cheap drinks and it has a pound a pint drink night on a Tuesday. As well as the opportunity to hang out with drunken students it offers three different quiz machines for those who want some sort of intellectual stimulation.
